LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Hispanic Student Society has been a part of Texas Tech since 1964, and leaders of the organization are making sure newcomers get the most out of what it can offer.

Sam Davila has spent her entire college career as a member of the Texas Tech Hispanic Student Society.

She says the organization, which has roots dating back to 1964, has a lot to offer students."We do things in certain branches like our academic and mentorship branch," Davila said.
