WEEKEND FORECAST Saturday is expected to be the hottest day of the forecast period.
A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon through 7 p.m. Saturday for areas generally along and east of the I-35 corridor.
Most of the region will remain dry, but a few isolated showers or thunderstorms could develop Saturday afternoon, especially along the Coastal Plains and near the Highway 77 corridor.
