MCLENNAN COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - A 33-year-old man faces a felony drug charge after Texas Department of Public Safety troopers seized nearly 60 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop along Interstate 35 in McLennan County.

Carl J. Cox, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana between 50 and 2,000 pounds, a second-degree felony.

Carl J. Cox(KWTX)According to an arrest affidavit, a DPS trooper patrolling I-35 on Sept. 21 observed a 2019 Honda Accord traveling 71 mph in a posted 65 mph zone.
