The Moanin' Frogs, a sextet of saxophone musicians, will blend jazz, pop, classical "and everything in between" when they cap the Fredericksburg Music Club's 90th season May 16 with a performance touted to be "equal parts talent and hilarious entertainment." - Submitted photo The Fredericksburg Music Club will celebrate its 90th anniversary during the upcoming 2026-27 season with eight monthly concerts ranging from classical piano and string music to contemporary vocal and brass performances.
The season will open with classical pianist Aristo Sham, gold medalist of the 2025 Van Cliburn Competition.
Concerts normally begin at 3 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month in the sanctuary of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 N. Llano St. The 2026-27 season will run from September through May.
