SURFSIDE BEACH, Texas (KTRK) -- Texas Equusearch said a body was recovered on Sunday afternoon following the search for a missing 16-year-old swimmer at Surfside Beach.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Search for missing 16-year-old swimmer now in recovery mode, Surfside Beach Police Department says The Surfside Beach Police Department said that they received a distress call on Friday afternoon regarding the 16-year-old boy, identified as Noah Dominguez, in the water off the main entrance of the beach.

According to officials, Dominguez was there with his girlfriend before he was caught in a current and pulled under the water.
