VALLEY VIEW, Texas (KXII) - Every year, seniors at Valley View High School paint their parking spots as a personal tradition before their final year begins.

For senior Parker Broumley, this year's spot carries the weight of three friends he has lost over the past two years."I miss them a lot," Broumley said, his voice trailing off.

The first goodbyeBroumley's first loss came in April 2024, when a good friend who shared both his interests and his name - Parker Bryan - passed away.
