A 1-year-old child is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at a Houston home Saturday night, according to police.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 5200 block of Sherman Street.

Houston police and Houston Fire Department crews responded to a 911 call reporting a child in distress.
