(KGNS) - Workforce Solutions for South Texas will host youth program orientations every Thursday starting Oct. 8 to inform young people about paid work experience opportunities.

Orlando Gonzalez with Workforce Solutions for South Texas said the program helps youth ages 17 to 24 who face barriers to employment.

Paid work experienceGonzalez said those who qualify, including those who dropped out of school or are teen parents, can participate."We believe that they deserve a second chance, and they believe to have a bright future," Gonzalez said.
