HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A teenager was hospitalized following a shooting that occurred near Westfield High School on Tuesday afternoon, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at 16713 Ella Boulevard.

Authorities say that HCSO deputies and Spring ISD police responded to the scene.
