HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Multiple eastbound mainlanes are shut down on I-10 after the Houston Avenue Bridge was hit again, this time by a truck carrying a large spool, TxDOT says.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office also reported the incident, saying an 18-wheeler hit the bridge because of its high load.

Houston TranStar reports that two eastbound right lanes of I-10 are closed due to the incident.
