Brownwood Independent School District issued the following press release Friday: Brownwood Independent School District has earned an overall B rating of 83 from the Texas Education Agency, rising from a C rating of 78 the previous year.

The improvement reflects stronger student outcomes district-wide, with notable gains at multiple campuses.

All three district accountability measures improved: Campus ratings: "These ratings are something our entire Brownwood community can be proud of," said Brownwood ISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Young.
