HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating after a woman's body was found inside a dumpster behind a strip mall in northeast Harris County on Thursday.

Law enforcement responded to the 3900 block of Aldine Mail Route Road after receiving a call regarding the body a little after 11 a.m. HCSO Homicide Sgt. Sidney Miller said the woman is believed to be in her 60s and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family was also on the scene, Miller said, as they'd been looking for her since Wednesday or possibly before that.
