Fredericksburg Theater Company Executive Director Jeryl Hoover is offering free tickets to first-time theatergoers for the Friday, Oct. 23, evening performance of "Steel Magnolias" on stage at the Steve W. Shepherd Theater.

"If you've never been to an FTC show, your first time is on us," Hoover said.

"All you have to do is call the box office at (830) 997-3588 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and say, 'I'm a first-timer' to receive your free ticket." A limited number of free tickets are available and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
