Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will visit New Braunfels on the morning of Oct. 24 as part of his campaign for the U.S. Senate.

Paxton will be joined by Senator Ted Cruz at Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que at 1125 N. Loop 337. The New Braunfels stop is part of Paxton's 18-day "Come and Take It" bus tour, which includes more than 30 stops across Texas.

Paxton, the Republican nominee, is facing Democratic nominee James Talarico, an Austin state representative, in the race for the U.S. Senate seat held by Republican John Cornyn.
