A 14-year-old has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a Westfield High School student that occurred on Tuesday afternoon near the school campus in Harris County.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A day after being arrested, a 14-year-old is now charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a Westfield High School shooting, according to an official with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting happened on Tuesday, shortly after school was dismissed along a sidewalk near Westfield High School and the Spring ISD administration building on Ella Boulevard.
The victim was identified by his family as 15-year-old Royce Witchet.
