NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Candidates running for state House and Senate seats met with voters Friday at a forum hosted by the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce, addressing data centers, water usage and education ahead of November's election.

Trent Ashby and Bobby Tillman are both running for state Senate District 3.

Tillman said he opposes data centers."We got to say no. We got to protect the future, guys. Texas doesn't belong to your uh it belongs to our children. We got to protect it. And first, you're going to have to give me a good reason why we need these data centers," Tillman said.
