Laredo ISD is installing bright yellow crosswalk signs outside schools to increase visibility and safety for deaf students, beginning with Cigarroa High School during National Deaf Awareness Month.

(KGNS) - Laredo ISD is installing bright yellow crosswalk signs outside its schools to bring attention to deaf students, starting with Cigarroa High School.
Cigarroa is home to the district's Program for the Deaf.
The signs are debuting during National Deaf Awareness Month.
