(KGNS) - The Mira Media Festival will bring filmmakers, artists and other creative minds from across the Texas-Mexico border to Laredo College for a day of short films, workshops, live music and art.

Alyssa Cigarroa, president of the Daphne Art Foundation and one of the festival's organizers, discussed the event's schedule in an interview."On behalf of Daphne Art Foundation and the Laredo Film Festival, we're excited to welcome the community tomorrow, Saturday, to the Mira Media Festival," Cigarroa said.
