TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - An Oklahoma man accused of seriously injuring an on-duty police officer drove at speeds nearing 100 miles per hour before wrecking in Tyler, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Robert Ashton Fasang, 21, is charged with intoxication assault, a first-degree felony, according to court records.

Robert Ashton Fasang(Smith County Jail)An affidavit supporting his arrest states that Fasang was driving a 2021 Lexus when an officer observed him revving his engine and speeding near 100 mph after leaving Bricks Bar and Grill on East Erwin Street.
