LEON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - A tragic two-vehicle collision in Leon County on Wednesday afternoon left one woman dead and another driver hospitalized with injuries.

According to DPS officials, the crash occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at approximately 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 75 and FM 1618.

Investigators report that a 2021 Buick Enclave was traveling southbound on State Highway 75 when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto FM 1618, turning directly into the path of a northbound 2012 Toyota Corolla.
