GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Scammers have a new target in the midst of the nationwide Cyclospora outbreak, restaurants, that are already dealing with a produce nightmare."I knew it just threw up a red flag," said Pelican's Landing Chef and Manager Charles Sellars.

Scam callers are impersonating produce retailers.

At Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma in Gordonville, Sellars experienced multiple of these scam calls firsthand at Pelican's Landing."Yesterday, we got a phone call, and the gentleman on the phone said that he was representing U.. S Foods, and that he wanted to get on this website that he gave us and enter that code, and it would send me a list of all of the items that were recalled," Sellars said.
