HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman has been charged with her husband's murder after he was shot and killed at an apartment complex in the Cloverleaf area, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

On Monday, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 50-year-old Tamara Cruz in connection with the shooting death of 74-year-old Juan Cairo.

Cruz has been booked into the Harris County Jail, deputies said.
