BEVERLY HILLS, Texas (KWTX) - A former Beverly Hills city employee indicted last week used the city credit card to stay at a luxury hotel and resort and to shop at HEB, paid herself more than her salary and diverted funds from traffic tickets for her own use, an indictment unsealed Thursday alleges.

Shere Nichole Lomosad, 45, surrendered herself at the McLennan County Jail about 6 a.m. Thursday after she was named in a sealed indictment last week charging her with first-degree felony misapplication of fiduciary property of more than $300,000, first-degree felony theft of more than $300,000 and three state jail felony counts of credit card abuse.
