The Dollar General Literacy Foundation and Reading Is Fundamental unveiled a renovated library and a $50,000 donation to Hunt ISD's literacy initiatives.

On Thursday, Sept. 24, the foundations presented a newly decorated and freshly stocked reading corner to Hunt ISD students and administrators.

"We go back, and we give money in communities, and we bring programs to life to help other people have access to books and to reading programs," said Denine Torr, executive director of the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
