BRUCEVILLE, Texas (KWTX) - An individual conducting a "controlled burn" was cited after a metal structure was destroyed by the blaze Tuesday afternoon.

McLennan County is currently under a countywide active burn ban issued by the Commissioners Court, which completely prohibits outdoor burning until lifted.

The fire was reported at about 12:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Dalrex Road in Bruceville, which falls under the Lorena Fire Department District Area.
