(KGNS) - A new federal watchdog report is raising questions about millions of taxpayer dollars spent on immigration detention efforts.

Community members in Laredo are raising concerns over where that money went.

A 20-page report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reveals U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) moved forward without a strategic plan, wasting $20 million maintaining six warehouses the agency later decided to sell.
