SOUTHSIDE PLACE, Texas (KTRK) -- A police officer was attacked multiple times by a bird in Southside Place earlier in August, surveillance video shows.

In a video recorded on Aug. 5 and later shared with Eyewitness News, the bird dives at the officer multiple times in the parking lot outside the Southside Place Police Department station.

After the initial dive, the officer defends himself and swats away the other attack attempts, the video shows.
