When Jeryl Hoover returned to his theatrical roots as executive director of the Fredericksburg Theater Company in 2024, he set an ambitious three-year plan in motion to grow audiences, strengthen productions and build long-term support for the nonprofit organization.

As the theater's milestone 30th season gets underway, the company is reporting gains in attendance, ticket sales and donor support while unveiling the remainder of its anniversary season.

According to the theater company, attendance during Season 29 increased 5% over the previous year, representing approximately 500 additional tickets sold despite producing one fewer main stage production.
