HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was charged with murder in the deadly stabbing of a man in northeast Houston on Tuesday, according to the Houston Police Department on Wednesday.

Brandon Jermond Lewis, 27, was detained after a brief foot pursuit on Tuesday afternoon, near the scene of the stabbing in the 8800 block of Lockwood Road.
