WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A teenage gang member who shot himself in the hand before shooting a killing a Waco man with eight children in what authorities say was a drug deal gone bad was sentenced to 30 years in prison Thursday.
Lee'Treviun Holloway, 17, pleaded guilty to murder in the May 2025 shooting death of 36-year-old Rondal Ross Smith Jr. in a Waco apartment complex parking lot.
Lee'Treviun Holloway, 17, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Thursday for the May 2025 shooting death of Rondal Ross Smith Jr.(McLennan County Jail)Judge Susan Kelly of Waco's 54th State District Court sentenced Holloway, who was certified to stand trial as an adult, in accordance with his plea agreement with the McLennan County District Attorney's Office.
