Alumni and supporters of the Hill Country Youth Ranch's 50 years of dedication to Hill Country children and young adults gathered at the Inn of the Hills on Tuesday for a special Healing Hearts celebration.

Founder Gary Priour created the Hill Country Youth Ranch (HCYR) in 1976 with a 107-acre land donation.

With help from the local community and volunteer efforts, the idea of creating a healing and enriching environment for children in need came to fruition.
