Houston police were called to an apartment complex in northwest Houston early Sunday after a report of gunfire.

When officers arrived at Oakwood Gardens in the 5600 block of Antoine Drive around 1:20 a.m., they found a man dead outside.

Investigators said the victim appeared to be in his 60s and had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including injuries to his head and chest.
