TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The punishment phase of the trial continued on Monday for a man found guilty of the 2023 capital murder of 18-year-old Dejah Hood.

On Oct. 15, a jury found Jermaine Britton, 22, guilty of capital murder.

The punishment phase, the second phase of the trial, began on Friday and prosecutors said this part of the trial could continue through Wednesday or Thursday.
