MISSOURI CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- Overnight, leaders in Missouri City decided to offer more money to attract new recruits to its police department.

The signing bonus will increase from $10,000 to $15,000.

That's after the city council unanimously voted in favor of a new ordinance for the higher signing bonus.
