CROCKETT, Texas (KLTV) - A long-term investigation into drug and firearm trafficking in Houston County culminated with the arrests of 15 suspects and the seizure of more than three pounds of drugs, Houston County Sheriff Zak Benge announced.

Houston County deputies and Crockett police, alongside state and federal agents, began serving warrants Tuesday and searched two residences connected with their investigation.

During the searches, 10 guns, including one confirmed stolen out of Houston County, were found in the possession of two convicted felons, Benge said.
