TEXAS CITY, Texas - Authorities in Texas City are searching for a man who is missing after a neighbor reported seeing a capsized boat in Moses Lake Wednesday.

The Texas City Police Department says the man went fishing out in Moses Lake at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, police say a neighbor of the man saw a capsized boat near the flood gate of Moses Lake around 2:30 p.m. The Galveston County Sheriff's Office boat and Dive team are on scene, along with the Texas City Police Department, the Texas City Fire Department and their water rescue boat.
