BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Bryan Police Department is increasing patrols as thousands of students are returning to Aggieland.

With 80,000 students starting the fall semester, Bryan Police are continuing to enforce the speed limits on Highway 6.

The speed limits have dropped since construction began, and police say the combination of new drivers unfamiliar with the roads and lowered speed limits is why they are stepping up enforcement.
