A Harris County man who was already behind bars on unrelated charges is now facing an aggravated kidnapping charge after investigators said a victim escaped from a home where they had allegedly been held captive, according to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.

Deputies responded to the home, located in the 15000 block of Darby Retreat Lane, for a welfare check.

When deputies arrived, they discovered evidence indicating someone had been held captive inside the home and had managed to escape, Herman said.
