Temporary closures announced for College Station Parks and Recreation facilities

College Station Parks and Recreation facilities will temporarily close July 27-August 2 as staff support the 2026 Summer Games of Texas.

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - College Station Parks and Recreation facilities will temporarily close in this week as resources and staff shift to support the 2026 Summer Games of Texas, officials announced.

Closures July 27-Aug. 2 include the Gary Halter Nature Center, Meyer Senior and Community Center, Lincoln Recreation Center, and Southwood Community Center.

The Parks and Recreation Administrative Office will be closed July 30-31.
