KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Family and friends gathered Monday to honor Chief Warrant Officer Two Deontre Huey, one of two Fort Hood soldiers killed in a helicopter crash earlier this month.
Huey was remembered during a church service at Pershing Park Baptist Church in Killeen, followed by full military honors at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Huey and Warrant Officer Seth Olmstead were killed Aug. 12 when their Apache helicopter crashed in a field south of Salado.
