RUSK, Texas (KLTV) - A Rusk man is behind bars after an online group identified him as someone who arranged a sexual meeting with a person he believed to be 13 years old, according to court records.

Jason Kyle Lanier, 34, was held Monday at the Cherokee County Jail on a bond totaling $100,000 for a warrant charging him with online solicitation of a minor.

The investigation began after an online group called Predator Poachers identified Lanier as someone who began a conversation of a sexual nature with someone he thought was 13 years old, according to an affidavit.
