The Fredericksburg High School varsity girls volleyball team wasted no time getting off to a hot start this season after the Billies swept San Marcos in three sets at the FHS Performance Gym last Tuesday, 25-15, 25-18 and 25-19. "The morale and work ethic has really made a difference," FHS head volleyball coach Jamie Kneese said.

"The kids have really bought in and it showed on the court during our game at home." Senior Lila Aldrich served four aces and recorded nine digs to pace the Billies to victory.

Abby Adams and Jorie Jenschke delivered three aces each for the Billies.
