The Uvalde County Appraisal District Board of Directors will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 to consider proposals for remodeling the appraisal district office building and a project to scan and index appraisal records.

The board will consider a proposal from architect Victor Patio for the building remodel and provide guidance to chief appraiser Roberto Valdez on the project.

Directors will consider authorizing Valdez to negotiate a contract with a board-selected company to scan and index property appraisal records, at a cost not to exceed $100,000.
