MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland County is warning residents about phone scams where callers pretend to be law enforcement officers.
Scammers may tell you that you missed jury duty, failed to show up in court, ignored a subpoena, or have an active warrant.
They might also send official-looking documents and spoof a law enforcement agency's phone number to make the call look real.
