At this week's meeting of the Brownwood City Council, a proposed new City budget for the upcoming 2026/2027 fiscal year was adopted by the Council.

The new budget has not been approved yet.

Before that vote is taken, the City will host two public meetings on the budget, where citizens can comment on it.
