New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) has achieved a significant safety milestone, reaching 1 million work hours without a lost time incident.

This designation means that no NBU employee has encountered a workplace related injury that resulted in missed workdays since June 16, 2025.

Maintaining a safe workplace helps NBU employees continue operating and maintaining the electric, water and wastewater systems that serve more than 70,000 customers.
