MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The 16th annual Midland County Fair opened Thursday at the Midland County Horseshoe, bringing food, rides and entertainment to the Permian Basin community.

The fair, presented by Petropex SWD Systems, runs August 20-23 and is described as Midland's largest annual event.

It brings together families, friends, exhibitors, volunteers and visitors from across the Permian Basin.
