Residents and landowners needing help cleaning up private property following last week's flooding can now request volunteer assistance through Gillespie County Emergency Management.
Emergency Management officials are coordinating with nonprofit organizations and volunteers to assist property owners with removing mud or standing water from homes, clearing vegetation and storm debris, providing chainsaw support and other cleanup tasks.
To request assistance, residents may email amorris@fbgtx.org, send a direct message to Fredericksburg/Gillespie County Emergency Management or complete the Texas Division of Emergency Management's Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT) survey with their address and storm recovery needs.
