FOREST GROVE, Oregon - The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets began their second season under head coach Coby Gipson in dominating fashion, collecting a 49-0 road victory over the Pacific University Boxers Friday night.

The Yellow Jackets (1-0) generated 522 yards of total offense - 366 passing and 156 rushing - while yielding just 151 yards - 77 on the ground and 74 through the air - to the Boxers (0-1).

Howard Payne also scored on all six of its trips inside the red zone, and were 6 of 11 on third down conversion attempts.
