With the start of District 6-4A volleyball action just over two weeks away, the Brownwood Lady Lions continued their challenging pre-district slate at Class 3A No. 8 Wall Friday, where they fell in straight sets, 25-7, 25-19, 25-12.

On the offensive end, Demayha Hooker led Brownwood with seven kills along with four by Kaydence Chandler, and one apiece by Ashantia Green, Lexi Driskill, and Kimber McLean.

Driskill distributed nine assists, Jordyn Brixey contributed four, and Green was credited with one.
